About AAK Karlshamn
Site Karlshamn is the largest and most complex site in AAK. It was founded in 1918 and is located at the Baltic Sea coast surrounded by a beautiful archipelago and grand oak- and beech-tree forests, perfect for recreational activities. The site has approximately 470 employees working in sales, customer innovation, quality assurance, production etc. and supplies into many industries including chocolate and confectionery, bakery, dairy, plant-based foods, personal care, animal nutrition, infant nutrition, candles, rubber and more.
About the position
AAK are looking for a team leader for the technical product management and customer innovation team in the Technical Products and Feed business area (TPF). The role covers a quite a wide range of responsibilities.
You will lead the Customer Innovation team in TPF and drive the product development and innovation agenda. You will be a part of the go-to-market teams within both feed and technical products and play a key role prioritizing development projects and driving them forward.
You will also act as the Industry Technical Product Manager for the business area. This means that you will be the product expert in a technical context and that you must be able to provide advice on the technical and nutritional aspects of the products. You will also monitor regulatory developments through contacts with business associations and national authorities and, in cooperation with QA, assure that products and production thereof is compliant with relevant legislation and certification standards. You will be responsible for the content in our product documentation, in our ERP-system, product data sheets and labels on packaging. In the product management work you will be assisted by the TPM for the fatty acid plant and feed fat production who is part of the team.
The job requires limited travel, for example to business association events, but also to customers.You will also be required to work closely with our production team to ensure that new products can be produced in an efficient way. Knowing the capabilities and constraints of our production sites is key to a successful execution of the development projects.

As a majority of the tasks are related to AAKs animal feed business we are looking for a person with a university degree within animal science or other relevant subject. It is important that you have significant knowledge and interest within animal nutrition and are familiar with the regulatory environment around animal feed. You have previous experience in product development and preferably also experience from a leadership role.
In your work you enjoy a great variety and appreciate close interaction with many stakeholders. As a person you are systematic, thorough and a fast learner. You enjoy working independently but also see the great benefits from team collaboration.
You are an excellent communicator in speech and writing and enjoy intercultural interaction Fluency in English and a Scandinavian language (Swedish/Danish/Norwegian) is a prerequisite.
