Geesink Norba is a leading company in the waste management sector. Geesink Norba HQ is based in the Netherlands but has business in 39 countries all over the globe. Geesink Norba has 600 employees, 97 service locations, 57 service vehicles, 32 spare part warehouses to serve the 7500 refuse collection vehicles in operation. In the Swedish operation, which serve the Nordics, it is approx. 30 employees and a turnover of 200 MSEK.

As Finance Manager you are expected to take full responsibility of the financial affairs in the Nordics. Since this role is a key position in the Nordic organization, it will mean that a lot of effort will be to develop the organization and look for ways of improving the processes in finance.

As Finance Manager, you are overall responsible. The overall focus is to direct the company´s financial affairs, with a cautious and effective control. Key responsibilities are also day to day accounting operations including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, payroll etc. You prepare monthly reporting (P&L), balance sheet, cashflows, and analysis. Oversee tax and regulatory compliance issues. You will also support and advise managers in the organization. There is one accountant in the department.

We would like you to have an MBA or BA in Finance and Accounting. A couple of years’ experience as Finance Manager, Controller or in an equivalent position. Your finance experience is of course essential, but we value your personal abilities very highly. It is important that you can combine a strong interest for proactive control management with down to earth leadership. We prefer that you have had similar role in an international environment. Good knowledge in different ERP systems is qualifying together with very good knowledge in Excel. If there is knowledge in SAP, it is a strong plus.

Since this is a global organization, you must be used to English. The companies’ office is in Kalmar but working remote is optional 1-2 days per week. As Finance Manager you report to the CEO and is a member of the local management team.
